PHIL COLLECTION. Elevating everyday rituals with minimalist glass coffee maker set.
PHIL Collection stems from the need to imagine the daily ritual of coffee preparation in a new way.
-
"We have never really enjoyed the taste of a good coffee until we stopped to prepare it carefully, to choose the coffee beans origin, to take care about the water quality and the right temperature for it. We have chosen to think about aseptic and timeless products because we believe in long-lasting products. We chose glass because it has the ability to be absence and presence at the same time and it can easily integrate into very different places and contexts in a silent and elegant way"
Eleonora e Alessandro, Næssi Studio
PHIL Collection’s design stems from a double formal research: archetypes of ancient Etruscan jugs and sinuous nineteenth-century teapots on the one hand, chemical-pharmaceutical and alchemical tools and plants on the other. The result is an aesthetic in which we all find familiar references but being linked to the user experience and functional needs, they are timeless and without a geographical identity specific.
