NUDO ARTISAN COFFEE packaging. A container that tells the content (without showing it)
Intro
NUDO Artisan Coffee is an Italian brand that has been roasting and distributing specialty coffee since 2021. A coffee that is essential, radical and authentic: NUDO Artisan Coffee was born from the desire to tell specialty coffee in its essence.
Design
We designed a pack that is branded and authoritative for the target sector but distinguished by handcrafted human intervention. This makes each pack unique and conveys the non-seriality of the coffee production process in it.
NUDO is a very dynamic brand, so we came up with a customizable pack for collaborations, events, seasonality and special productions but in which the brand identity and communication hierarchy always remains very visible and understandable.
The NUDO pack expresses the brand's concept starting from its name: NUDO, therefore pure, authentic, in Italian the word "nudo" means "naked, without clothes" and therefore impossible to cover. We imagined the new pack so radical as a brutalist building that shows the material it is made of and the construction logics that built it.
At the same time, the intervention with the ever-changing layers ties in with the urban culture of the food world. We thought about the doors of historic cafeterias with colored stickers: spontaneous actions, layouts in progress, signs of human presence on architectural and design surfaces.

Material: Materica Clay by Fedrigoni Papers 360 gr/sqm, an FSC-certified paperboard composed of 25 percent pure cellulose, 25 percent recycled fiber, 10 percent cotton fiber, and 40 percent CTMP cellulose.
The pack was handcrafted and printed with Foilco Smudge Matt Black foil by Nostroinchiostro, in Rome.
