INSIEME: atemporal hybrid spaces. Næssi Studio x AlfaternaMarmi.
In INSIEME (in Italian, “together”) the relationship between humans and the animal world is described through the inhabited places that are visual diagrams of the coexistence of the two natures. A shared space in which humans and animals are represented by forces that act independently according to different and non-hierarchical logics. These forces, transforming the same physical place, collaborate in a single mutually contaminated scenario.
INSIEME is an atemporal hybrid space without spatial coordinates in which it is impossible to identify a reference scale or the architect of every single mutation.
INSIEME is a proposal: renounce the critical investigation that proceeds by opposites to try to contemplate the morphogenesis of new forms to inhabit.
Three two-tone elements made from a block of lava stone. Made with computer-controlled cutting, bush-hammered and with a blue color painting in the internal cavity.
